Henry IV Part 1 at the Globe, London

The second day we were in Cambridge, Thursday the 7th  we went to see a Shakespeare play (Henry IV part 1) at the Globe Theatre which is a replica of the origional Globe that burnt down. We had standing seats so it got a bit annoying after a while but it was fine. It was really good and all the actors were really funny. (One of the main actors looked like the new Doctor Who by the way.) And at the end they all did a dance which was very funny as well. Very good play. ...

Stratford On Avon

Went here with the ever resourseful and fun to be with June, Alan, Babs and Martin. Strolled around the town of beautiful thatched buildings and cobbled streets. Visited Shakespeare's birthplace and Anne Hathaway's cottage - both amazing with insightful talks by the National Trust's volunteers. Minnie was excited by the barges on the canal which inspired Babs to organise a barge ride for us on Sunday. ...
